Job Responsibilities
The Morgan Library & Museum has an opening for a paid internship made possible through the Themis Anastasia Brown Memorial Fund. The intern will assist staff in the Reading Room. The duties will include paging, re-shelving, and photocopying of reference materials. In addition, the intern will perform clerical duties, such as, filing, typing, and photocopying of selected rare materials from the Archives. The candidate will be required to do some lifting and carrying of heavy books, therefore, good physical condition is important.

Requirements
The intern should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to details required, good verbal and written communication skills, be very dependable, able to work within deadlines, some library experience preferred. In addition, we would also prefer a candidate who would commit her/himself to one year.

Compensation: $10.00 per hour (10–15 hours per week)
